Elachee’s Aquatic Studies Center at Chicopee Lake

HOURS/DIRECTIONS By foot, hike 2.5 miles from the Elachee Visitor Center. By vehicle, access directly: 2100 Calvary Church Road, Gainesville, GA 30504

Used for pond and wetland studies and for the monthly Stars Over Elachee public program, this scenic area is also a favorite site for birders. Parking lot is open daily, 7 a.m. to dusk. Note: there are no public restrooms.
