The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee and the Georgia Forestry Service also recognized young winners of the 2016 Arbor Day Student Art and Essay Contest. Judge John Girardeau, Chair of Elachee's Board of Trustees and Chair of the Greenspace Committee-Vision2030, shared inspirational remarks on the value of trees.
